Tast 2012

Well I have bitten the bullet too, and joined my friends Linda, Di, Suz and Anneliese in the Tast 2012 challenge. I had planned on working on the Stitch Files next year, but maybe some of the stitches can be combined.

I thoroughly enjoyed the 2010 Tast adventure. You can see my efforts on my side bar under "Pages".  I am sure I will enjoy it again.   At least I can plan better now I know what it is all about, and maybe come up with a neater fabric book .

  1. I'm so happy you decided to go for it again Shirley. I'm also excited to be part of such a great way of extending one's stitching knowledge. I love the little image you've used for this post, and I've been planning my 2012 stitch book a little ahead of time.....LOL.

  2. That flower is stunning. What kind of stitch did you use for the petals?

  3. This flower on top of your post ist so so charming. We are 5 friends now to share our ideas, thank you Shirley. If I translate "to bit the bullet" I find out that it means to bite into a sour apple. This can't be the right translation...or? Because, it will be so much fun....by the way I like "sour" - we say: sour makes merry!

  9. I'm happy those wonderful ladies got you to bite the bullet and join them! They know how much you love to stitch! Someday, I'd like to do an embroidery and/or cross-stitch sampler.....my own design.
You have many more stitching adventures to go.
